Ron Ticho is President of Advance MarCom Strategies LLC, a marketing communications brand strategy consulting firm. Ron established the firm in 2019 to deliver greater value for its clients in the areas of strategic marketing and communications in the healthcare, life sciences, technology, and higher education industries.
Prior to establishing Advance MarCom Strategies, Ron most recently served as the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and External Affairs for Coordinated Health, now part of Lehigh Valley Health Network.
During Ron’s tenure, he played a critical role in the expansive strategic growth of Coordinated Health that included the addition of three new medical facilities, the launch of four new service lines, and a 20% year over year growth in medical staff.

Debra Fraser-Howze is the Principal of D. Fraser Associates, a consulting firm that works with clients to establish successful partnerships that result in improved health outcomes for underserved populations, while driving corporate value and revenue growth. Debra is also the founder of Choose Healthy Life, a sustainable, scalable and transferable approach to address public health disparities through the Black Church, established in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Choose Healthy Life strives to bring faith and medicine together in order to better serve the health needs of marginalized communities across the nation.
Prior to her work with Choose Healthy Life, Debra was the Senior Vice President of Government and External Affairs at OraSure technologies. During her time there, she played a key role in launching several of the company’s FDA approved tests for infection diseases, as well as securing government funding to support such projects. Prior to her tenure at OraSure, Debra served as the President and CEO of the National Black Leadership Commission on AIDS (NBLCA), an organization she founded in 1987. Debra also advised two U.S. Presidents while serving on the Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS from 1995-2001.Debra was the Vice Chair of the HIV Human Services Planning Council in New York City and chaired the National Institute of Heath’s Public Education Technology Committee. In 2003, she was appointed to the New York City Commission on AIDS and in 2007 to the New York State Governor's Health Advisory Council. Debra’s work and accomplishments have established her as a global leader to communities of color regarding teenage pregnancy, social welfare, and HIV and AIDS.
Marketing and Administrative coordinator
Imani McClinton-Jackon is a Senior Administrative Assistant at Southern Company Gas, a leading producer of clean and safe energy, providing services across the country. She provides executive assistance to senior management, planning and scheduling events, reviews, and meetings. Prior to joining Southern Gas Company, Imani worked at the CDC as an executive assistant to the Director of the Office of Appropriations. While at the CDC, she managed collaborations with partnered agencies, created and maintained correspondences, as well as overviewing reports, career development, and new initiatives. Imani currently works for AMS and Choose Healthy Life, coordinating events, travel, and marketing initiatives.
Hannah Starorypinski is a 2022 summer intern. She is currently studying Political Science with a minor in Public Communications at Syracuse University, and hopes to attend law school after graduation.
Prior to his tenure at OraSure, Ticho spent nearly 15 years at Lehigh University having last served as the institution’s chief marketing and communications officer reporting directly to the President. His team’s work helped transform the perception of Lehigh from an “engineering school” to a “national university.” Through the proactive engagement and alignment of all key stakeholders, the University exceeded its $300M development campaign goal (largest at the time) and propelled from No. 51 to No. 33 in the U.S. News and World Report rankings among National Universities.
Ron has served on a number of community boards and currently is the President of the Parkland School District Education Foundation and of Congregation Brith Sholom. He currently serves on the boards of the Miller Keystone Blood Center, United Way Greater Lehigh Valley Campaign Cabinet and the Lehigh Valley Business Education Partnership.
He served for over a decade on the executive management team at OraSure Technologies, a publicly-traded medical diagnostics company, where he led corporate communications and strategic marketing. While at OraSure, he co-led a cross-functional team that researched, developed, aligned, and communicated a new corporate vision and growth strategy. OraSure revenues grew 120% during his tenure as the Vice President, Strategic Marketing and then as Senior Vice President, Corporate Communications. In addition, he directed the market launch of several ground-breaking innovations that included the nation’s first rapid diagnostic tests for high burden infectious diseases such as HIV, hepatitis C and Ebola. He also led the market launch of the first and only rapid HIV test to be made available over the counter.
